“The Third Generation of Acting” is the title of the book promoted today as part of the “Skampa” International Theater Festival, at the premises of the “Qemal Baholli” Public Library. After 65 years in the service of art, the well-known writer and art critic, “Grand Master” Miho Ghini brings his 38th book, as a testament to love, dedication and gratitude for the magic called THEATRE.
This work preserves the memory of the Albanian stage and transmits its illumination to the generations to come.
A rare homage to 25 young artists of stage and screen, like the stars of the third generation in the sky of Albanian acting.

Moments from the exhibition opened today at the Qemal Baholli Public Library, as part of the “Skampa” Festival.
“Memory of the city through dramatic art” – Fetah Biza.
The exhibition honors the figures who gave life to the stage: directors, playwrights and passionate teachers, who created 64 premieres with a civic spirit, from 1917 to 1944.

The 27th edition of the festival of new theatrical styles and forms brings back a variety of performances from different countries of the world this year.
“This 27th edition of the Skampa International Contemporary Theater Festival is entitled “Extension”, as an invitation to expand our boundaries of thinking, feeling and experiencing art.
Appreciation for beauty in all its forms, as well as the proof that living art remains the greatest force for reflecting on our complex world, are the goals of this festival: to connect us with each other and to welcome change.There are 11 performances will take to the stage (in Elbasan, but also in Tirana), from 9 different theater companies, including: companies from the Turkish state theater, Ankara and Istanbul, as well as companies from Greece, Kosovo, Lithuania, Serbia and Albania. As in every other edition, there will also be workshops, photo exhibitions and book promotions on theatrical values.
