This 28th edition of the Skampa festival is called “Të Jesh ” / “To Be”. It comes as a theatrical journey through the soul and essence of beings. An invitation that further encourages free space for self-analysis and dialogue – a space where theater and life intertwine in search of a common understanding of being, that does not provide answers but provokes questions, that invites reflection in a turbulent world that changes at a dizzying pace.

The festival atmosphere is further enriched by a multitude of parallel events, including seminars, presentations, concerts, exhibitions and discussions.

For more than 27 years, prominent artists and specialists from over 50 countries around the world have performed at the festival Skampa, including Albania, the Netherlands, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Spain, Turkey, China, Argentina, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Germany, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, France, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland, USA, Montenegro, England, Serbia, Hungary, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Belgium, etc.

The festival covers internal transportation from the airport to Elbasan and vice versa, full accommodation (hotel and meals) during stay at Elbasan.

Applications for participation are open until July 31, 2026, with the final selection announced in early September 2026.
